No. This is an unofficial, third-party trade-in program. We are independent collectors and enthusiasts. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the original Jibo Inc. or any successor entity.
Our algorithm considers multiple factors: overall cosmetic condition, functionality (power, motors, screen, speakers, touch sensors), battery health, model color/rarity, included accessories, and current market demand. A fully functional Jibo in excellent condition with all original accessories will receive the highest offer.
After your Jibo is delivered to us, we will inspect it within 1–2 business days. If the condition matches your assessment, we'll initiate payout immediately. Payment options include PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle. If the condition differs from your assessment, we'll contact you with an updated offer.
We still accept non-functional Jibos! Robots that don't power on are valued for their parts and components. The offer will be lower than a working unit, but you'll still receive compensation. Select "No" for the power-on question in the assessment.
If inspection reveals a significantly different condition, we'll contact you with a revised offer. You can accept the new offer or request your Jibo be returned at our expense. We aim to be completely transparent and fair in every transaction.
Yes! Developer edition and prototype units are especially valued. If you have one of these rare units, please mention it in the additional notes during your assessment, and we may provide a premium offer above the standard algorithm.
